Choosing Your Cake

Your dream dress has been found, the invitations are printed, and the florist has ordered up the perfect blooms....now your attention has turned towards the ultimate confection - your wedding cake.

The cake is one of the most prevalent symbols of your wedding. It will be featured prominently in your wedding photographs and it will be a focal point for your guests when they arrive at the reception venue.

There are so many choices available. You can choose chocolate and vanilla sponge, you can have fruit cake, with or without liquors. You don't even have to stop at one flavour, each tier can be made of different cakes so you can please everyone.

When you are ready to choose your wedding cake, there are a number of factors that a couple needs to consider.

Where to Start ?

  • How many tiers

  • What design

  • What type of cake, such as fruit or sponge

  • Will the cake be the main dessert

      Depending on the design

  • What colours and decorations should be included

  • Should decorations include fresh flowers

  • What tier arrangements and stands are required

  • What will be used as a cake top

What do you need to do ?

  • Book your free design consultation with Chocolate Creations

  • Bring along your sketches, ideas, pictures from magazines

  • Taste our cake sample

  • Decide on the final design of your cake

  • Order your cake at least 6-8 weeks in advance
